SENSORY PROBE KIT

WORK AND DATABASE IN PROGRESS

With producible capabilities, how can citizens engage with digital technology in public spaces aside from its intended uses?

From Gaver et al’s Culture Probes method, I have taken up an investigation method that I call a sensory probe kit. This kit invites citizens through sensory modifying exercises to produce expressible objects. The kit provides a way for people to perform their human experience of space

The Aristoliean division five primary faculties (sight, smell, touch, taste, hearing) constitutes the initial design structure to develop material and immaterial probe exercises that would extract one’s bodily expression of being in a public space.
